I'm in WI so temps can certainly get to below zero but this car doesn't see winter action, it's rare if it will ever see a temp below 50 when driven.  I have been adjusting the fast idle bumping it up slightly the last day or two when cold, as of yesterday it was about 1200 RPM.  I know stock the setting is about 2k but don't think that's neccessary for my situation.  The 1400 RPM range sounds good to me, should kick down pretty quickly too.  Amazingly I haven't had the chance to actually drive the car yet but so far after the fast idle adjustment it does seem to operate very smoothly.  Can't wait to take it for a spin, hopefully later today.
