1970 Rochester Two-Jet

(1/1)

Ethan1:
I have a Rochester Two-Jet. Part number 7040436. I notice there is a plug on the air horn and what looks to be an APT system right by the power valve. Is it an adjustable part throttle?

 Thanks!

Cliff Ruggles:
Can you post a pic of it......Cliff

I took a look again and that plug is not over this screw by the power valve, so I didn't take a pic of the plug. The plug is right near the accelerator pump.

Here is a pic of that screw by the power valve.

"Screw by the power valve".  I see a cup with a feed hole leading down to the APT screw.  This was used on some late model 2GC units.   Here is some good reading on it, with pics:

Thank you, Cliff. Sorry, didn't know what else to call it. :D
