A 71 Monte Carlo w/SBC350 & TH350 and a Q-jet 7041208. Planning on going to a M20 Muncie in the future and am curious if simply removing the kick-down (TV) linkage is my only modification to the carb? Also have this large solenoid on the front of the Q-Jet, determined it to be an idle-stop (electric).....is this because of the AC equipment? Haven't found much info on it..........Thanks, love the book! :)
