When I energize my ignition on my 81 Camino should I not be hearing the tick tick tick of the electronic metering? I don't hear anything and it might explain why I can't get my ride through emissions. Thanks for any clues.

The cycling of the M/C solenoid is pretty loud, and you should be hearing it.....Cliff
