rebuilt carb and cam break in

wanted to get your guys opinions on running engine for first time after rebuild with carb i rebuilt using cliffs parts.someone on another forum suggested using a known running carb first for break in.i dont forsee any problems running the engine and carb first time after rebuilds should be fine off idle for cam break in.any thoughts?thanks

Pretty important to have a carb in known working shape for the first 15 minutes of "run-in" for the new cam......Cliff
