How about a recipe book??

Great Book, I have read it twice and am starting to get a handle on it, sorta.
I have been measuring all my idle bleeds, ect. and writing them down and was wondering if you had ever thought about a recipe book to go along with your rebuilding guide. just a thought.
I have a 73 big block vet pretty much all correct. It has the 7043200 it came with and I picked up a spare on ebay for really cheap in case I screw this one up. It has a speed pro flat hyd  tappet cam 292/302 advance duration and 501/527 lift with c/l 112.   the rest mostly stock except for roller rockers and petronix ign.
Do you think the recipe on page 96 would be a good start?
No racing I just do shows.

The 7043200 is a divorced choke, large MAB model.  It's going to require large main jetting.  They can be completely recalibrated with small MAB's, we stock them, and the correct jets/metering rods for what you are doing.

It's going to want a lot of idle fuel as well, I'd follow recipe #3 for idle fuel.

I would also install one of our kits, to get it up to par for modern fuel, and the correct parts for the big block application.....Cliff
