I was going to go to the first swap meet of the season out here back in march but no way, it was still down in the lower 20 degree range. I heard that the whole meet was pretty much a total bust. no outside vendors hardly showed up. So, I decided to get to the next one which was this last weekend. I got there really early and it was pretty cool, bout mid 40 degrees but it didn't take long and the wind picked up, clouds started rolling in and the clouds opened up, started pouring rain. Everybody just scattered, packed up and left all by about 9:30 in the morning. Usually I pick up maybe 2 or 3 core carbs at about 15 dollars each average (..got to feed my addiction you know..) but not so this year. I tell you, if the sun comes out at this next swap meet, people are going to go crazy buying and selling. Us car guys go a little crazy if we cant let go with a little dough at a swap meet. Keeping my fingers crossed for the Fremont swapmeet. And then on top of that, it actually snowed earlier this week. I'm getting tired of this weather. Oh well, it is Nebraska I guess.
