Hi
New to the site but not new to quadrajets, have run a few thru the years, Just finishing up a driver 57 chev truck with 305 700r4 336 rear gear. It has a small rv type cam headers ,hei ign. Bought the engine used runs good has a carter 600 on it now but i r would like to run a q jet, looking thru my junk i found a nice clean q jet 17056202. Any reason this would not be a good replacement for my use? Thanks

 17056202 is from a 1976 Chevrolet Chevelle, Monte Carlo and Camaro w/ A/T, Federal, 350cid.

 #77 Jets. #44 Primary Rods. CH Secondary Rods.

 Hope this helps. I'm sure Cliff will know if this will be a good carb for your application. :D

Those are nice units, large MAB's, so they will have big jets in them, and small metering rods.....Cliff

Thanks for the I D,, Cliff going to pull it apart and order a kit from you, so are you saying i may need to jet down for my small motor?
