Bought the engine used runs good has a carter 600 on it now but i r would like to run a q jet, looking thru my junk i found a nice clean q jet 17056202. Any reason this would not be a good replacement for my use? Thanks

17056202 is from a 1976 Chevrolet Chevelle, Monte Carlo and Camaro w/ A/T, Federal, 350cid.

#77 Jets. #44 Primary Rods. CH Secondary Rods.

Hope this helps. I'm sure Cliff will know if this will be a good carb for your application. :D

Those are nice units, large MAB's, so they will have big jets in them, and small metering rods.....Cliff

No need to jet down for a smaller engine, the correct A/F ratio applies to all naturally aspirated engines of similiar make....Cliff
