4 jet rochester #7015040

MY friend wants this carb for his 1960 , 401 cu.in. nailhead buick . I know they used both carters and rochesters that year ,  but do not know , on which engines . any help would be appreciated .

 I'm not sure what your question is? Sorry. Carb #7015040 was used on the '60 Buick 401cid engine.

nay you got it right , was not sure the 7015040 was the 401 nailhead or not. many thanks !!! I told him if any one would know, it would be someone on this site

 What model of Buick is it? I can then look it up to see if it is absolutely for your model. :) Some used the Carter and some didn't.

my friend was very happy with the information , it seemed to confirm the carb , engine combination he is working on.thanks for the interest .
