Repairing a crack in the throttle plate

Shark Racer:
I went over one of the QJs I got from a store that went out of business, and it looks to be in pretty excellent shape. No signs of tampering (bleeds look correct, air bypass hasn't been plugged, etc).
However, I did find that the throttle plate has a crack on the "ear" of the primary throttle shaft, passenger side (fast idle cam).
What's the best way to fix this? I was thinking I could hit it with a cut-off wheel and fill it with some steel putty, or find someone who can tig-weld it. I would rebush it afterwards so air leaks won't be an issue.

Use our bushing install kit and drill deep enough to set a bushing to the edge of the bore. No repair to the crack is actually needed, the bushing will be deep enough in the bore to hold fine. The shaft may need to be straightened since it may be bent slightly when the carb was dropped and cracked the baseplate.....Cliff

For the refinishing service, can/do you do small parts as well? IE the choke flap, air-valve butterflies, etc. I know they're not supposed to be attached to the carb.
Now that I've cut my teeth on the first one I'm thinking about doing a "concours-level" (heh-heh) performance rebuild on this one.
