Seen it again on q-jet, why thing t slot in air horn center????

Maybe somebody trying something but i just came across another 69 with a metal T clip in the air horn center vent pipe?? Newby on me, any special reason why they are installed there?? Look like 2 bl. T that hold power piston spring in. Anybody wish to shed some lite on this weird thing???

Found it!! Seems those T clips where installed so nobody would put the hold down bolt for the air cleaner down the tube. Found it out in a old artcle in Hot Rod. amazing!!!
