Can anyone tell me what the original primary jet/rod combo and secondary rods were for this carb?

 .076 Primary Jets, 51M Primary Metering Rods, K Hanger, and EH Secondary Metering Rods. This is coming from the internet. My book doesn't go '82-UP. Sorry about that. :(

I have 74 jets and the stock rods in it now along with DP secondary rods. The driveability and A/F ratio are good at part throttle but it is pig rich (10:1) at WOT. Trying to figure it out.

Looks like DP and EH rods are identical (on my source, anyways).

Are you positive you're running 51M? If you're running an 026 tip rod (K/J and others) you'll go quite rich.

Are any of your air bleeds blocked?

Any chance the power piston arms are bent up and the rods are not even in the jets?

I will double check the rods but the originals were 51M and I reused them. It had 72 jets in it when I pulled it apart. Thought it would be lean so I put some 74 jets in I got from Cliff a while back along with the orange power piston spring. I can check the movement of the power piston through the APT hole tonight but the A/F gauge suggests it is working. Last thing I did Sunday was adjust the APT from 3.5 turns down to 2.5 turns but I haven't had a chance to test drive it yet. I checked the secondary hanger height last night and it was right around 41/64.

I just rebuilt the carb and ran drill bits through all the holes so nothing should be blocked.

I am going to lockout the secondaries and see if the issue is on the primary side.
