I have a 7029268 core, that the plating has worn off or been disolved.
It primarily affects the area around primary jets and a little in the accelerator pump area.

Is this core useable or does the exposed casting material mean problems later. The remaining plating does not appear to be flaking and is generally solid.





 

Shark Racer:
Clean it up and reseal it. Chromate conversion or paint. I prefer the former.
