Why do i have large main well tubes also???
« on: June 29, 2013, 08:25:40 AM »
I ve only seen main well tubes with restrictions on the end but my top has the same size main well tubes as secondary main well tubes, All 4 tubes o.d. are same size. Will huge main well tubes hurt anything????

Sounds like a 69-70 Pontiac carb with the primary POE system, they use 4 tubes the same diameter....Cliff

POE is Pull Over Enrichment, supplying fuel thru the tubes into the engine on the primary side with some airhorns, just like it does for the secondary side.

Primary side POE was used to allow for leaner jetting at cruise.  POE adds in fuel with quick throttle movements much like an accl pump to avoid a lean condition......Cliff
