HI, I was wondering, what numbers do the Qjets used by Mopar have? Over how many years did they use the Qjet, and why? I guess because of thigtening emissions?

I think they were made from about '83 to 86.

Yeah thats how far I have gotten too. Do you know how to identify a Mopar unit from the number?

 Yeah, early to late '80s is ones I see as well. Not sure about there part number though. The ones I have seen, look like any GM Quadrajet you see. ???

I have a non-molested 17085409. 1984 Mopar 360 V-8.  Looks identical to the 17083231 ('83 Chevy truck) I have except the Mopar carb has the anti-dieseling solenoid and a different throttle lever.
