Need help with vac placement on e/b performer.
« on: July 02, 2013, 08:14:57 PM »
FINALLY started the 2brl. to 4brl. and cam swap on my 76 f/bird 350, I have a 17080272 q/jet I'm swaping to and it has no spot for the vac tree on the plate of carb. Can I run the tree off one of the intake outlets that are on the edelbrock perf for the p/brake and the rest of the needed vac lines . I should have a place to install it but I'm not sure if that's the right amount of vac for p/b ,dist.,modulater, heat riser , and I have a few lines off base for c/pull off ?

Drill and tap the rear of the baseplate for 1/8" NPT threads.  This will provide a port for full manifold vacuum for PB's, or anything else you would need to run using full manifold vacuum....Cliff
