How to use a Qjet on a square bore
« on: July 03, 2013, 07:30:02 AM »
I have a Carter AFB on top of 1967 326 engine and the manifold is also ment for the squarebore carb. has the 4 holes that match up with the Carter AFB carb..
What could I do to test out my rebuilt Q jet on this manifold?
I do own a 1968 Q jet manifold, but do not feel like changing the manifold yet but would like to test run the q jet when it arrives.
Thanks to Cliff's High performance it's ready and I am anixous to run it.

You will need an adapter plate to convert the square-bore to a spread-bore. You can find them in pretty much any auto parts store. It looks like this: http://compare.ebay.com/like/300925431681?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
