If this is the right place at all to ask questions about this carb; where is the ID number supposed to be stamped? And do you, Cliff, supply kits for these carbs?

They used tags, not stamped numbers, at least all the ones we've worked on had tags on them.
Contact Jon Hargrove a the Carb Shop in Missouri. He can identify them by asking a few questions and supply kits for them as well.....Cliff
