Baseline settings? 455 Pontiac
« on: August 16, 2013, 11:30:57 AM »
Hey Cliff,  A bunch of years ago I did my carb with your book.  Made it worlds better.  But now, I know there is more.  I think I made close to your second recipie with the parts I had avail.  But with new engine build, I know it;s rich on low end.  Pull vac line off and RPM increases.  Want to do a complete go through again but wanting confirm on what to start with for my combo.  I don;t have much for parts, canablized some carbs at wreckers so I am sure I will need to order things.

Nice carbs, same as the one I use on my 455.  When you get time, call the shop and we'll get what you need to set it up for the RAIV cammed 455.....Cliff
