I have the opportunity to purchase two of new carbs. Apparently they are new, never seeing fuel. Would these be good cores for modifications for performance use? I would expect that having never been used they would not need some of the repairs from a used unit (Bushings, etc...). Asking price is $100 for the pair.

 Are they a parts store replacement? If so, I would go with different ones. They probably have a MCS and TPS electronics on them as well.
