jet and rod advise needed

<< < (2/2)

REFORMULATED:
Hi Cliff, I'm using the stock secondary metering rods that do not have any markings I can find. Purchased the car from original owner, it was sitting since 82 so I'm pretty confident they are whatever was installed at the factory.

Cliff Ruggles:
Measure the tip diameter if they aren't marked.  All factory rods were marked that I've seen.  I can custom machine a set of rods to any specification that you desire.  We're use a medium/rich tapered rod as a core, and long tips, to increase fuel delivery clear across the load/speed range.  Those carburetors respond well to this, I seldom, if ever use the factory metering rods in them, tips are too short, and too lean on the upper section.......Cliff
