Can the 67 Olds base plate work on 67 Pontiac??

Mr.Pontiac:
Look almost identical in every way. most noticable differance is the undercut on bottom of base.one area opposite curved is the area for heat riser to intake one side wraps around more. Can this be fixed???? Or is the 67 Olds intake  made differant than the Pontiac,s???

 Wouldn't hurt to try I guess. Are any of the passages blocked on the '67 Pontiac carb?
