Different base gaskets

Camaro350:
Was wondering about the different base gaskets avail to use on my Weiand 8004 manifold. Since it is a divided dual plane, wouldn't it be best to use a four hole design?

This gasket came with the carb:



I'm thinking this gasket would be better suited for an open intake? Using this one Weiand 8004, Edelbrock 7104 etc would just contribute to more turbulence between ports?
