What's good for polishing up the power piston and rods?

I read that crocus cloth is good for that, but can't find any locally. If you use crocus cloth, where do you get it? I have ultra fine wet paper up to 2000 since I do auto paint, if something like that is okay. What do you use?

I would use the 2000 grit wet sand paper. Cheap and easy to find. I think it does a great job as well. :D

Sounds good, thanks  :) .

I use 000 steel wool to polish them up nice.

I chuck them in a drill press and use 1000 grit. Just a few seconds.
