I have a 7040200 EE  2399.  I have rebushed the front throttle shaft and put a stock rebuild kit in it.  I did not recolor it, but it looks clean and decent. It has not been modified or drilled.

 I would say between $125-$150 is a good price for that carb. Not recolored or modified. :)
