air bleed offs
« on: May 19, 2014, 06:06:22 PM »
Hello everyone. Was wondering if someone could educate me on air bleed offs? Why would you alter them? What affects transpire from altering them, and is there a science, or some formula for choosing what orifice size? Im asking because on of my q-jet bodies has brass inserts in it. Thx.

do you have cliffs book?it explains things pretty good. also which bleeds are you asking about? you have idle air bleeds ,main air bleeds , some have idle bypass air . if your talking about a marine qjet I've never seen one. i live in northern wyo.a carb no. would be very helpful. fwiw
