7037213

7037213 with a date code of 2726. I have been told this carb was built the 272nd day in 1966. I was also told it was built in 1976. I have talked to 3 previous owners and they were all convinced it is the original carb for my 67 camaro (California car). The Julian code seems correct for the car that was built in early Dec. of 66. Thoughts? Thanks!

Service Replacement as per the date code. They didn't go to that format until the early '70s. Prior used a letter/number date code. So, 1976, sounds right.

Thanks Ethan. I have a auto. tranny 327/275hp. Looks like 7037202 should be correct numbers. December of 1966 in California. 7037212 is listed for a standard tranny. Look right to you? Thanks!

What a dumb a__. All this time I have been searching for the correct Rochester Quad for my car. I just looked at my protecto plate info and the info on it shows it came with a Carter Quad. Now what numbers am I looking for....The search goes on.

Guess I am answering my own questions the more I look around. Found that Carter-built Quadrajet carburetors will have the same part number and ID number as the Rochester-built Quadrajets, but will have "MFG BY CARTER CARBURETOR FOR GMC" cast into the carburetor body.
How hard is it to find a Carter with my correct numbers?
