running lean CH RODS .057 SHORT VS..041 SHORT

Felt like i was a little lean on my 12.84 pass.at Norwalk. Didn,t have any rods with me.Checked when i got home & before
new i had CH(short) SECONDARY RODS .057 in there. I have a set of .041 i want ti try out. Is that to big a jump to richen carb. up???

CH's would be a tad lean for what you are doing. 

I tried calling your number to machine some metering rods for you, but just got a message that the mail box is not set up yet?.....Cliff
