Power Piston Springs

I am rebuilding a 7042250 for a 72 Olds 350.  On Cliff's suggestion, I am going to use 69 jets and 43B rods and use an adjustable part throttle screw.

I have several power piston springs, that are the same length.  One pink, one orange, one light blue and one black, as well as a longer black spring.  How do I tell which are heavier or lighter, and which one should I use, or should I stay with the original.

This car is strictly a street driven car with no racing aspirations.

Pink is 7in of vacuum. Orange is 5in of vacuum. Blue is 3in of vacuum. Black is 6in of vacuum. Not sure on the longer black spring. Sorry.

On Cliffs suggestion, I am switching from the stock 50B rods with the 69 jets and using 43B rods with the same 69 jets, and then use the adjustable part throttle screw.  This is for street use cruising, use of A/C and smooth running.  It has a 2.73 gear, so I am not looking to race it. 

Should I stay with the black 6" vacuum spring, or go lighter (or heavier)?

Our kit comes with Orange, Light Blue, Green and dark Blue.  I'd use the Light Blue spring for what you are doing....Cliff

Also, I have a couple 7042250 carbs.  One air horn has the 2 extra POE tubes, the other has them removed and plugged.  Is it better to use the one with or without the POE?
