Save as a core or restore?
« on: January 17, 2015, 09:19:05 AM »
Hey Guys,
I have my area cleaned up and ready to rebuild my carb (once I order the kit from here) and was wondering- is it better to leave a carburetor in "rebuild core" condition or restored? Or does it matter?  I have a 3-4 sitting around for future projects, and wouldn't want to do them all, but thought it might be good to do a couple while it's fresh in my mind?
Any thoughts one way or the other?
Thank you in advance-!
Patrick

"Rebuild Core Condition" is alright, but would eventually corrode the aluminum alloy, air horn and fuel bowl. I clean mine and recolor them. I guess that is just personal preference for me. Should be fine either way. 8)
