crazy mopar ID quest.

Any body know how to I.D. a "mopar" quadrajet?  {like at a swap meet etc}
I'm wondering cause my bud wants me to build him one for his mopar. Need the kickdown link.
Or way to make something work.

They were mid to late 80's production, and the kick-down linkage is pretty obvious.  I can't remember the number sequences off hand, but they are non computer controlled late model units.....Cliff
