After pulling a set of idle tubes out the collars get buggered up sometimes. is it ok to touch them on a belt sander just enough to clean up ends of collars while still intact on the idle tubes?
Does the length actually mean anything???

i second the question I've done that also . doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference. would like to know if somebody has tested this.

It will not hurt or effect anything if they are a little shorter than the stock ones, the tubes extend well below the fuel level in the main bowl when the float is correctly adjusted.....Cliff
