APT screw

If you don't have the beginning setting for the APT screw how can you find out where to set it at. If I go just snug any idea how many turns out, Carb number 17059272 79 Pontiac 301. The carb has had work but I don't know if that would change that setting or float level.  Thanks Tom

I think 3 turns up from bottom is a good place to start. You can always confirm using the tip-in procedure once that carb is placed in service.
