How is it going guys
I am in the process of rebuilding a l98 350 for my monte i have decided to go away from the tpi which was my plan. i have the stock carb on my car and also i have one out of a firebird i picked up at the junk yard. i am looking to keep the car looking stock but with the 350 with 58 cc aluminum heads and a comp cam  part # 08-432-oe duration .50 230/236 on a 110 with .544/554 lift. should i keep the stock quadra jet or rebuild the one i picked up which is a 17087130 motor is also bored 20 over.
just looking for some advice on rebuild and jets i should use. i just ordered cliffs book so i will be doing some reading also.

With that much camshaft on a tight LSA the ECM and factory carb/distributor woln't be happy anyhow.  I'd go to an earlier carb that isn't computer controlled, and HEI with mechanical and vacuum advance.  The best carbs for what you are doing will be Chevy style side inlet, hot air or electric choke models with APT.  There is a chapter in my book on carb selection.....Cliff
