Question on needle and seat size

May sound like a stupid question, but does the size of the needle and seat have an influence on part throttle cruising and heavy load primary ?  I'm talking stock  street engine here.

The size of the hole can have a very minor impact on fuel level at any float setting or fuel pressure, so yes.

It can also effect the fuel level at heavy load or full throttle.  If the carb doesn't stay full then fuel delivery to the engine will change.....Cliff
