Would the larger primary bore carburetor be better to use on a 454 than the smaller bore?  It's  pretty much a stock L29 BBC with a 454 HO roller cam.

i would find the best carb you can to rebuild ,(prefer one that nobody has messed with ) your engine will run spot on with ether once you get it set up right.imop.
