Raising Charges for Plating Service

We just raised our price for plating services.  This includes zinc plating, yellow chromate, and coating main castings and airhorns.

The cost of everything involved with doing this has tripled in the last 10 years, so we have to raise the prices to compensate.......Cliff

OK, the new pricing for our replating service will be $500 plus parts and return shipping. 

Price for complete/correct rebuilding remains at $275 plus parts/shipping.

Price for Marine units and "tune-ups" $175 labor plus parts/shipping.

We really don't want to do any more plating jobs where we don't do the assembly and testing.  We've just ran into too many issues with that deal, and folks hiring us to do tall the hard work often source out their parts elsewhere, so they don't even "throw us a bone" for all the hard work we're doing for them.

We also do NOT want any more "remanufactured" carburetors sent here for any reason.  They are just completely "butchered" up these days and EXTREMELY labor intensive to salvage.  99 percent of them aren't worth the shipping cost to get it here just to have us tell the owner it's a complete pile of JUNK.

All other services are the same at this time.......Cliff
