What type of A/N fitting can go into the fuel inlet nut?   i also noticed pictures of this on pages 44 and  88 in the book.

What year carb are we talking about here? There are several A/N fittings to choose from. Both 7/8" and 1". Cliff might even carry them. Might give him a call.

It's actually a 2G and i think i found something that will work for either a 2G or quadrajet:

i need something that will screw into the STOCK fuel inlet nut, not the actual fuel bowl.  This is because the A/N fuel inlet going directly into the bowl for a 2G won't allow me to use the stock fuel filter.  However, the A/N fuel inlet for a quadrajet WILL allow the use of a stock filter.

Yep, that should work. I assume you are using -6 A/N line then?

We drill and tap the fuel filter housings for NPT threads, then you can install any AN fitting that you want.....Cliff
