Fast Idle Cam
«

Hello: Regarding the fast idle cam on the later 76 and up APT carbs there are 2 step and 3 step fast idle cams that I have seen.
Is there any correlation to which one to use or does it not matter?
Thanks!

There are at least 4 different cams that I've seen, the two step is probably the most common. I use a 3 step on my own carburetor, and have the electric choke set so it takes about 3 minutes to fully open.....Cliff

Thanks for the response Cliff. Just a matter of choice then.
