Lokar or other throttle cables - Experiences?
« on: March 15, 2010, 10:26:26 AM »
I replaced a stock 400 in my 75 Formula and put in a 455 that has a 68-72 intake on it. Due that intake swap, the original  throttle bracket no longer mounts because there is only one mounting hole not two like the 75 bracket requires.

I spent some time fooling with metal brackets/pieces trying to see a solid simple way of remounting that bracket.
Thinking of just buying an aftermarket universal...... Saw this:

Looks like a slick bracket that mounts to the carb rear driver stud.
Anyone use this or something similar? What did you do for a throttle cable? After an intake swap.
