I bought a crusty parts carb with this PN. To me it decodes as a '72 Cadillac 49 state with MANUAL TRANS. I didn't think Cad made anything with a manual trans in '72. Am I missing something?

OK I saw somewhere that the last number being an odd one sometimes doesn't mean it's for a manual trans car.

Correct, several part numbers used for Buick, Olds and Caddy q-jets will end with an odd number but were used with an auto trans.....Cliff
