hight speed bog

hello guys i have a 1910 that's on 462 olds. it was rebuilt because idle was really rich and it was taken apart at a carb shop. Shop said was lean drilled out idle circut or replaced tude, cant remember what was  done. i do remeber him telling me rods where a size 52. are these to lean or to fat?

the bog happen when getting in secondaries. primar is ok i still think it needs work there also.

also if Anyone know of a shop i can send it to with my motor specs, im in so cal can ship

The 1910's were pretty rich everyplace right out of the box.  Most will have a very "fat" idle circuit, so not sure why you would need even more idle fuel from one unless it has a HUGE camshaft in the big 455 and low compression.

A stock 1910 more times than not needs leaned up a idle, not fattened up.

Edelbrock did use at least 4 different calibrations in those carbs from what I've seen.  They also had fundamental issues with them and machining errors, so difficult to say exactly what's going on without seeing it......Cliff
