Quadrajet tuner in the Chicago Area - northwest suburbs?
« on: July 16, 2017, 11:36:24 AM »
New here.  I have a 69 Oldsmobile F85 with a professionally built 403 SBO, Edelbrock heads and intake. It has a hydraulic roller cam and runs on pump gas. Muncie 4 speed and 3:91 gear.  The Qjet was built by SMI and was a custom build for my engine specs.

I did some initial adjustments (APT, loosen up secondaries) on my Quadrajet. It runs better and now I'd like to find a shop who really knows how to tune these cars.  Someone who has the proper diagnostic equipment.  My son told me to install an O2 sensor as is discussed on your site.  Truthfully I'd rather pay someone who has the appropriate knowledge and skills to get it running optimally vs. mess around in my garage.  Any recommendations on a tuner in my area?

Thanks, Bob D
