Secondary Rod Question
Cliff Ruggles:
Sounds great, make sure to have all of the engine specs close by when you order, specifically the CID, cam, and true static compression ratio....tks....Cliff
Bigb206:
Even with the hanger they were barely touching the plug, would it be ok to slightly ground down the top on the rod so the rod and disc make a complete seal.
One other question I have...I ordered my kit on Tuesday, while waiting for the kit to arrive I wanted to do the modifications. I noticed that the the previous owner must have drilled this out air bleeds in the airhorn, they are approx 0.065, Will this be a problem?
Cliff Ruggles:
The MAB"s in the airhorn should be very close to .070" on that carb number......Cliff
Bigb206:
Cliff,
I received the kit and have a few question. With my specs above and this carb (which doesn't have the holes drilled for bypass air in the base plate), would you recommend drilling the base plate or throttle plates? Also, which PP spring would you recommend.
If it matters, I'm using recipe #2 in the book.
77cruiser:
Drill for bypass air. Are all the other channels there for it?
