Big Thanks to Cliff

I had posted a high idle problem on this forum for a 1975 Corvette quadrajet (7045222) looking for help. Cliff responded with a couple of things to look at. After tearing the carburetor down I could see what he was suggesting - vacuum leaks so I called him to order a throttle shaft bushing tool and kit - worked like charm. Cliff also suggested one of his rebuild kits, new idle tubes and tips on how to clean the passages. Put a jet back together and improved the idle some what but not were i could control idle speed and mixture. I thought about his suggestion to check for a warped air horn so disassembled the qjet again  and sure enough that was also problem. I took a fine file and carfully flattened the air horn and installed one of Cliff
