Spacer orientation?
« on: June 22, 2018, 01:33:26 PM »
I just got my carburetor back, and it came with a cardboard gasket/spacer that has plastic bushings for where the bolts go through. The plastic is flush with one side, but not the other side. Does it make a difference which side goes up?

No, those are just there to prevent over-tightening, not orientation of the gasket......Cliff

You can center up those bushings with you fingers (if it bothers you).  They are just setting in the holes.

Thanks, guys! I assumed it probably wouldn't matter, but I figured better to ask than find out the hard way that I was wrong.
