My one question for now is, where is everyone going to figure out the factory specifications for their quadrajet?  I am having problems with my truck running rich at cruise.  I do not want to start changing things without knowing if I have the correct parts to begin with.

The number on the quadrajet is 17082226.  The primary metering rods are 41J and the jets are 74.  I have not fooled with adjusting the secondary rods so I did not think to write down any information on those.   

I bought Cliff's book and have been reading it as well.

That carburetor needs our 50C rods with the full tapered upper section and .036" tips, and no doubt it is rich everyplace with J rods in it.....Cliff

Are the rods sold in pairs or each?  I started to order them this morning but wanted to make sure before I sent in the order.
