fast idle cam

lightning boy:
17058218 with elec. choke. Guys, when starting, the choke closes but does not come up to the fast idle speed. everything used to work, it would start, come to about 1200 RPM then once warmed up you could tap the gas then come down to 750 RPM idle.
the screw to adjust the fast idle does not work anymore. (cant increase or decrease speed)
Any thoughts?

Did you verify that the fast idle cam is being raised to the highest position when the choke is fully closed?......Cliff
