« on: December 29, 2018, 02:47:07 PM »
Would anyone know the original applications for a GM intake manifold with casting number 14057057

It is a four barrel spread bore.

Thank you

Build cast date is G 20 2, which I assume is July 2nd of 1972 or 82.

I uploaded pictures to this gallery site:

My google searches on the casting number returned an array of possible applications, but none that to me seem authoritative.

It's going to be post 1974 as it has the later hot-air choke set-up not early divorced choke.

Most likely a later truck intake as it lack provisions for EGR.

All the small block cast iron intakes are excellent, even for high performance use.  For most applications they are better than the aftermarket aluminum intakes companies sell to replace them.....IMHO......Cliff

Thank you Cliff and Mudsport

Most of the paint is worn off but there is black paint in some areas and that would make sense for an early 80s truck

I will set this on the shelf for now. It might be handy to have for a future project.
